The PowerPlay RollAbout ConferenceStation is a mobile, H.323 multimedia
conferencing endpoint suitable for large sized conference room and
classroom settings. It offers large format display, multiple video
and audio inputs, as well as both wired and wireless microphone
options.
School districts install this product in classrooms with 15-30
students who may be taking classes offered at a different school.
Each location may combine into 8-way conferences to share curriculum
or specialized instruction across the district.
The addition of multiple microphones, cameras, VCRs and DVDs offer
the instructor the flexibility necessary to conduct a large group
conference. Interactive SmartBoards™ can also be added to allow
touch screen capability and shared white board access across the
network using PowerPlay's document collaboration.
The RollAbout 2000 is also applicable in corporate training environments.
Corporate users benefit from large group job training. New company
products and applications can be demonstrated and taught via this
platform, to a larger number of people simultaneously without the
need for costly travel and downtime.
